What benefits do you get to have a full Registry Backup?

If you have ever been frustrated with the following situations, a full registry backup will help you:

1. You installed a software or game on your system, however, you cannot get rid of it and the normal uninstallation cannot uninstall that program. It leaves some pieces you don't know on your computer and affect your operation of the whole system.

How to use the Registry Backup and Registry Restore functions in CleanMyPC Registry Cleaner?

It just takes minutes to backup the whole Windows registry with our product.

Backup Registry: 

1. Click the "Backup & Restore" icon in the left navigation pane.

2. Click the "Backup Registry" button in the right pane, a dialog will be prompted to ask where you want to save the backup file (Our product will store the registry backup files in a single cab file)

3. After you selecting the place to store your backup file and clicking the save button, the backup process will be started. Please note it will take several minutes to make a full registry backup so please be patient when it is running. (During the backup, the computer may seems hanging, this is normal and please wait a while until it finished)

Restore Registry:

1. Click the "Backup & Restore" icon in the left navigation pane.

2. Click the "Restore Registry" button in the right pane, a dialog will be prompted to ask where your backup is. Please select the cab file you created in the past using the backup registry function.

3. After you selecting the backup file and clicking the open button, the restore process will be started. Please note it will take several minutes to finish. After it is finished, it will prompt you to restart the computer.

4. Restart the computer as it prompts and your whole Windows registry state will be restored to the point when you created the backup.

Note: When you doing registry backup or registry restore, please make sure you login with an account in administrators group if you are using Windows XP, 2000 or NT4. If you are using Windows 95, 98 or ME, then you can login with any account. The rules applies because you need have backup/restore privileges to do the registry backup and restore.
